can not get ferrets

problem- my mum wont let me have ferrets!!! i am just asking do any of you know how to persuade to let me have a couple. my dad does not mind but my mum hates them. any advice welcome. patterdale

My mum was like that, but i dont live with my dad so i only had one problem to tackle, in the end i persuaded her to let me have one after month's of nagging and moaning she finally let me have one and now she love them

when i lived at home i would just turn up with them couldnt get rid once i had 1 so they would just let me keep it only the 1 mind then 2 then 3 then4 lol...................................................

Do you know anyone with any that you can show her?,the problem as with most kids(not saying your to young mate)is that after a while they get board of the new thing and the parents will end up looking after them.Show your mum that you can look after them without her help and that you know what your doing with them,things like a bin for the poo etc and that they don't stink or bite or can escape.Show her some maturity and patients mate,build yourself a hutch but tell her it's for the future when you are allowed one.Play the long grind em down game mate,tell her about the wonderful countryside and the fact it's better and safer than hanging around the local bus stop.If all else fails tell her it's ferreting or a life of crime the choice is yours mum(don't do that i'm just joking),good luck and look after your ferrets when you get them mate.

Bit drastic but get a Rat of someone and let it go in the garage or back garden.She will soon let you have one when you tell her rats wont come near a fert.If you dont want to handle a live rat get a dead one and strategically place it where she will find it. :unsure:

i lke all these options but here comes the problems

1.we live on a farm so there is bound to be rats

2.she says my 2 dogs are enough and

3. i can not say the crime thing because the nearest town is 25 miles.lol.

mate just tell here this is your intrested and what you want do in your spear time tell her you could be out drinking and being a pain in the hole like most young lads after thinking about it she should come round
