Hi mate

Both were head shot!first one just above the eye line ,bullet exited about a 3rd down its back at about 120yds

second one last night bullet went in its eye at just over 100yds (no exit)

Now they were shot from prone with little wind & i know this was about the limit on fox with a hmr but both went down VERY hard!

I wouldnt try to take a shot if there is any more then a breeze coz on friday night my little bullet was getting blown like 9-10" at 100yds with a gusty wind!

Mates 22-250 was moving less then 1"

Anyway within its limmits very good on fox in little to no wind!

I have just put in for several centerfires but if i was going out for a walking bunny hunt & hoping to get a token fox i would still use the hmr!(best of both & you can still sell bunnys)

Cheers Andy

Thanks for that - I usually shoot fox with a .243 but when I'm out looking for em I see plenty of rabbits so like you ,I thought the HMR would be ideal on the less windy nights ..cheers and good hunting...Ron
