claybusers al 9 Posted October 13, 2008 Report Share Posted October 13, 2008 if you have land where you are allowed to catch up pheasants you need to build a catcher just a simple cage with a cone shaped entrance no point doing it now unless you want to keep them over winter you will need a pen of some sort to keep them in once you have them for laying there eggs the best ratio is 8 hens to 1 cock once they start laying you collect the eggs you can incubate them or use broody hens you can get small incubators quite cheap and easy try fleabay if you cant catch up birds try a local keeper or game farm or even buy eggs of them to try to hatch there are plenty of books out there or the internet to get help i hope this is a better answer than smart remarks good luck with your hatching Quote Link to post
