hi there how do i breed pheasants and how do i catch them

you dont catch them you buy them of a gamekeeper/pheasant rearer then you breed them yourself

you buy a few mummy pheasants and a daddy pheasant, put them in a pen and play them barry white records.

if you have land where you are allowed to catch up pheasants you need to build a catcher just a simple cage with a cone shaped entrance no point doing it now unless you want to keep them over winter you will need a pen of some sort to keep them in once you have them for laying there eggs the best ratio is 8 hens to 1 cock once they start laying you collect the eggs you can incubate them or use broody hens you can get small incubators quite cheap and easy try fleabay if you cant catch up birds try a local keeper or game farm or even buy eggs of them to try to hatch there are plenty of books out there or the internet to get help

you may think there smart but if he thinks he can put such a fecking brief question up and expect answers that will tell him all he needs to know!!!! he to me seams as if he knows nothing at all regarding this subject and imo if they aint got the basics and try to go the whole mile in breeding and rearing then it will only end up one way , and thats a fecking shit short life for the unfortunate bird................ if he is serious get off to a game farm, offer a bit of free labour and LEARN the proper way..
