Ferreting yesterday 1 of the rabbits i got had orange stuff on its ears like the stuff you get on trees but was eating away at the rabbits ears.

Had it actually damaged the ear? If not then its probably just something rubbed off onto it. Could also be a bad infection if there was a wound.

It was like it was eroding the ear mate.

Think its mite whatever it is the ferrets have it so vets at 10 to 5

christ mate hope the ferrets are ok , got a rabbit few weeks back that had a big sist like hing on its back leg about the size of the big size marbell out a set of marbels solid and like a yellow puss when it poped it was the consistancy of mastic so needless to say the ferrets didnt even get a look in on that one.

i found a rabbit last year running accros a feild squeeling then it stopped n layed down and it just let me pic it up thats [bANNED TEXT] i noticed little orange dots all over its ears

Went to the vetr its only harvest mites theyl fall off in a few days av just to watch for irritation
