bullcross1 10
alright folks,i caught the owner of country wide kennels down at the midland, like i said i was going to, and he was quite shocked after i told him my situation, he said he knew nothing about it, and that he had recently sacked 4 managerial staff and that things were changing at the company. He was full of apologise and has given me 4 water proof mats for the dogs to lie on and 30% off my next purchase i get with them. Im not sure ill use them again after all the hassle, but the steel turned up and its decent stuff so i guess its up to you guys to make your own minds up on weather to use them in the future. IanGD 0
Canine Kennels for me, not the cheapest but quality gear. I have also used Kingstown in the past for panels and they always had panels in stock...
Tinman 0
I am looking into getting a Kennel system. While at the Midland Show I had a good look at Mitton Hall Kennels and I was really impressed. Here is a link I found on there brochure: http://www.mittonhallkennelsystems.com/events.cfm Tinman Edited September 28, 2008 by Tinman
farlap 19
I had the exact same trouble when I got my kennels from them, I recieved my kennels 2 months late and when I tried to cancel when I found out they were at the bollox they wanted to charge me £150 cancellation fee!!!! The kennels are made fairly well and they are a good price but it may be worth paying that little bit extra for a better service!!!!! They advertise using a BASC LOGO. Now if they are trade members they need reporting....and...if they are not trade members they need reporting for using the logo!!! I know I pay good money to be a basc trade member and i would be furious to think someone else is trading using the logo that I pay for, if they dont! May be woth an email to basc??? Trap1 27
When these companies build there products they tend to stock pile orders before the galvanising as it saves on cost to get a large amount done at the same time hense the delays.
Beechessam 0
I used Mittonhall kennels not the cheapest but certainly one of the best out there
davesmithgreyhounds 0
I have only joined this forum after being alerted to this thread,i run the uk,s largest greyhound forum greyhoundscene, one of my friends who owns greyhounds in partnership with me told me about this news. I am a hobby greyhound trainer and have ordered some kennels from countrywide kennels,i spoke to rob from countrywide kennels on numerous occasions before i visited to place my order 4 weeks ago,rob spoke to officials of the national greyhound racing club our regulatary body to make sure what i have comes up to spec,he has been realy helpfull to date. I visited their premises and was satisfied with the standard of workmanship,to their credit after i placed my order i found that i needed them a metre longer, they said no problem we will do it no extra cost. An important factor for me was an exact delivery date as i have old kennels being taken down and my dogs boarded else where while a base is laid in preparation for the arrivals of my new kennels.I spoke to countrywide today and made them aware of what was on here, they assured me my delivery date will be met. To date i cant fault them and can only speak as i find,i will keep you updated. Dave Smith

Let us know how you get on Dave as Countrywide Kennels was recommended to me, as my son and myself are both looking for 2x 2 block kennels. So will be looking on with interest. bullcross1 10
dave smith, ill tell you now, that rob bloke is full of shit and he will tell you what you want to hear, he filled me full of crap for weeks and made excuse after excuse for the delay of my galvernised steel, luckily i caught him at the midland game fair which i pre warned him about but he thought i was just bluffing, any ways i went above his head and spoke to the managing director in person and he dressed rob down in front of myself and a few other folk saying that he should have made him aware of this problem and that it could of been sorted alot sooner without any hassle. I do hope you get your stuff on time as i know how much of a hassle it is when you keep getting let down, the bloke who owned the company did say that things were changing and that he had sacked a few of his managerial staff due to all the complaints he was recieveing.
