firearms cert

Hello,

 

Can anyone help me with this, just called FEO to ask about lifting the restrictions on my cert, having served 22 years in the army and having my licence for 2 years now, they've asked for a letter explaining what firearms I've used, frequency of use, ammo used and proof of military service. mil service not a problem,my question being has anybody got a draught letter that has worked ?

from reading your post it sounds like you want your ticket opened up am i right ?

so you can use your rifles on any ground you have permission over or incase you get more ground so you wont have to get it checked then.

 

by looking at your fac ticket they can see how much you have used your rifle by the ammo amounts. that is a good thing to point out. also you could tell them you have missed out on new shooting ground because the farmer has asked you to do the vermin control on there but you would hve to see if the land is passed 1st

Im having the same problem,just cant think of exactly how to word the letter so if anyone does have the letter they wrote for an open licence,could you please post it on here to give us a guide.cheers

every ones needs and problems are different.

cant see a single letter from any fac holder working for every one.

just tell them why you want it.

if your ammo use is minimal, so might be your chances.

 

not if you have been reloading your own remember :whistling::thumbs:

Nothing to stop you entering loaded batches onto your ticket to show usage. I used to do that prior to having an open ticket. Bear in mind you still have to justify use at renewal as well. :big_boss:
