SportingShooter 0
Duck- 5 or 6 Geese- 3 or 4 Steel Shot? No, it doesn't have to be steel. It can be any of the Non-Toxic shots available. Lead has been banned for a number of years for Duck and Geese, be they on the Foreshore or Inland. Regards SS Quote Link to post

Regards SS SS, was recommended No3 steel in Keens last week for geese in 2 & 3/4" 32g (all they had I think, said there's little difference!). Is it wiser to go 3" or 3 & 1/2" magnums?? Only thing that puts me off is £20+ per box!! Quote Link to post

There is not a BEST cartridge, there are several very adequate cartridges depending on the circumstances Punt Gun????? Quote Link to post

Yeh agree with that Deker & that comes with experience, but what would a reasonable allrounder be? If there is one. Quote Link to post

SportingShooter 0
With a bore measuring up to 2" in diameter and firing twenty drams of Black Powder and two pounds of shot............................. I'd love to fire one too :D :D Just for that eccentric moment, feeling back in the 1870's SS Quote Link to post
