ilovetoshoot12345 0 Posted September 15, 2008 Report Share Posted September 15, 2008 just wondering if anyone else has ever been bottle digging, went last summer twice found it fairly interesting dug up mainly old poison bottles and bovrils a couple of ginger beers, should have a few pics when i work out how to post them lol, just wondering if anyone heres ever been and dug up anything good. Also another place at Tilbury by the Thames, i've seen guys dig all sorts out of there an old victorian bottle dump of sorts, some amazing porcelin dolls heads, plates & figures Quote Link to post Share on other sites

dfee 1 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Share Posted September 16, 2008 alot of the fox holes that we do are on old ash tips,alot of them have been dug up by bottle diggers,every now and then when we have a dig if i see some that look interesting il take them home.theres some reallly smart looking ones. bill88 6 Posted September 16, 2008 Report Share Posted September 16, 2008 The land bordering some of my permission is a victorian bottle dump.The mounds are full of warrens,and the rabbits dig most of the bottles out for you.I haven't a clue what the bottles are but ive got a few here ive picked up when out with the dogs.
