ferreting permisson

i have been offerd some ferreting permisson but he wants me to have Public Liability Insurance has aney one had it before and have i got to have it or what or shill i talk him out of it and say i dont need it for ferriting i am not sure what to say to him about it aney help would be good

if your under 18 its cheap and you get a magazine every 3 to 4 months

Several people on here reccomend SACS but I personally have Countryside Alliance. HTH. Cheers, D

looks quite reasonably priced, if i had permission waiting for me to buy a membership to get this insurance..... id do it mate

Id recomend the SACS, youll find a link to it on the forum, that would give you public liabilty for ANY hunting activities, expect using horses, as long as its un paid

You could try joining the Scottish Gamekeepers Assosciation too - or the english equivalent (if there is one). I am a member of that and I get Public Liability for all hunting shooting fishing, working dogs etc, and its cheaper than BASC.

Try The countryside alliance.. Theres lots of benefits including personal accident insurance and employers and public liability.. If your 18 - 24 its £10 per year and 25 - 64 its £46 per year..

thanks to all ive got the SACS now just waiting for it to come it was 22 quid a year i went and looked at the permisson yesterday ther is a few on ther but i think most of them are bush rabbits but it should help me get some more permisson when i am out looking for it
