i had the same problem here in portugal with all the working terriers. the only ones available from working stock was jagdterrier.

Theres none of them in ireland dehoff.. Dont think theres any in the uk either... Always thought of geting 2 in from france ...They seem like hardy terriers.. but just because we have only heard of good.. id bet theres as much bad there aswell... probly the same as the patterdales here...

Alright Macker a freind of my has one he uses it for beating cover a digging it is as good as a hound for giving tongue after foxs

and not to bad at the digging aswell can be very hard.He line some black terriers with it a few times it was hit and miss about 40% of the pups mad pretty good digging dogs.They are a fine terrier and very fond of water you could nearly call them an all rounder from what i saw of them...P.s Hows the lurcher getting on?

you can get them alright. i had one a few years back. good to cover and was starting to work below. but i had to put her down,on vets advice, due to a reoccouring skin problem. i got her off a lad in moate, in the minlands.
