alirat 0
With Ivomec I think you need to do it weekly for minimum of 3 weeks. No idea about paste and doseage but I think the skin formula works well. Not used that in a dog though and ony got it from a vet or pets at home
Clover 0
I know someone that had a bitch with a nasty case of demodectic mange. Her vet used really high doses of Vit E and this sorted it. I'm NOT telling you to do that, but maybe worth discussing this with your vet?
Guest ROOSTER
aludex is the best ive used, advocate will work but takes a few pippets and time, benzle doent work on demodec on sarcoptic yes but theirs better out there .
IanGD 0
Aludex, but its not an overnight cure as with whatever you use you need to kill the life cycle of the mite.
Guest ROOSTER
Aludex, but its not an overnight cure as with whatever you use you need to kill the life cycle of the mite. the mite that causes demodec is deep in the skin and kept under control by the dogs own immune system aludex is as good if not better than anything on the market. deputydog 68
get ivomectin or dectomax best cure as long as there no collie blood in them as there isnt in your dog i would go and get some from the farm shop ivomectin is the best as dectomax is ivomectin based but not as strong
IanGD 0
This article is worth a read regards Demodex and it mentions Amitraz which is what Aludex contains.. http://www.peteducation.com/article.cfm?cl...p;articleid=
Joe 2
Aludex works well. Your vet will definitely be able to supply you with it but I think you might be able to buy it online too. You may need a vets prescription though to purchase online.
