Meerihunter 7
I headed out for a spot of ferreting this afternoon with the the 3 hobs and Salukis Ameerah and Farouq. Here was the venue, no action shot or anything as I forgot all about camera till I was finished The ferrets and dogs worked really well considering the amount of nettles, thistles and willow herd surrounding the holes, Farouq was a little excitable intially but once he settled down we started to get some good sport and not much was getting past them. Final bag 24 big fat rabbits Roll on the frosts! Edited September 14, 2008 by Meerihunter Quote Link to post

bigdan 11
on an open berry saluki's maybe ok but i found that in tight areas or being flushed from berrys by terriers a rabbit is super fast and it takes saluki a bit to get the momentom up ive got a saluki x going to make a good dog becouse i do more bushing im doing a deal for a wippetx but saluki's as a breed you cant beat them really top dogs and i think its brilliant your showing how multiskilled they are not just for hare bashing Quote Link to post
