DevonHunter 0
Got my bike and shall be riding it from November onwards (first bike on the road) Anyone had one know much about their riding habits? I heard they need to be well warmed up. I wonder how it will do against the salt ....
droid 11
I wonder how it will do against the salt .... Salt will eat it. Coat everything not braking related with WD40. Hose the brake calipers down every ride when the roads are salted or you WILL get sticking calipers which WILL warp your discs.
Guest bigredbusa
as with any stroker they need warming up before giving it berries , get yourself a good toolbox the switch gear isnt use to out climate and if you start getting electrical problems they should be the first thing to check. strokers love being ragged but dont keep it open for to long on long stretches as it WILL push a rod . other than that ,as a first bike your gonna have fun , get yourself some sliders and get grinding as they are more than capable as droid has said coat everything ali , scotoiler do a spray to coat the whole bike and wash's off along with all the crud which leads you on to cleaning it , pressure washers are ok to use but dont use them near headstock or wheel bearings as this just pushes crap further in and there is nothing worse than having a wheel bearing let go while trying to do your best ghostrider impression on your favorite roundabout

badoosh 1
think you'll find your offroad riding will be of more use to you when the shitty weather comes you should have the right skills to help in a slide etc just enjoy it and think that for all the riding in the cold shitty weather you've always got next summers warmish shitty weather to look forward too then it off and get the biggest powerfullest bike you can afford
