Just got some great news on Saturday regarding some local shooting permission we applied for this year, the local golf course had been high on our list for some time and after a lot of time and paperwork we were allowed a three month trial ( April/June ). We were allowed to lamp this between these dates which we gladly did but after the permission timescale lapsed we heard nothing and a few unreturned calls later we feared all was lost. However one afternoon in the local a couple of weeks ago a bloke came over who to say the least was quite "influential" at the club asked how the shooting was going as the course had sufferd a rabbit explosion of late. After telling him we were only offered shooting on an intrim arrangement and had not been asked back he said he would sort it and all I had to do was write a letter and we would be back in buisness. The letter was hand delivered a week ago and true to his word I recieved confirmation that permission was re-instated until September 09........so the batteries are on charge, the lamp is ready and yours truley can't wait to get up there for some night time mooching........splendid!!!

Nice one Coney , its just a waiting game with the permission as we all know , some of the newbies should walk in our shoes before posting that nobody is willing to help em out , most of us never had any help getting it !! nice one coney see if you can borrow a buggy as well you will av a great time and laugh as me and charlie did a while ago. they are a bit whizzy so be careful lol easy shooting on the golf course as well they stand out like a sore thumb.let us know how you get on
