thehunter69 1
Hi to you all, I am new to hunting as you can tell if you read my profile, i made some home made snares out of picture frame wire, i set 6 traps on friday night i could 1 rabbit but some how it came off just as i was about to pick it up, i thought the wire was to thin so i went out and bout 10 brass snares ( 40p ) plus pegs ( 25p ), anyway late saturday afternoon i set the traps, on sunday morning i went to see what i caught be when i was getting the traps to come home 3 traps where moved over to the side of the hole which the rabbits could easily get past, i want to no if i was setting up the traps the right way i made a loop about the size of a small fist and placed it in the hole about 1" on the sandy bottom and put the peg in about the hole, am i doing anything wrong or was i just unlucky again. cheers for any replies, happy hunting Quote Link to post
