Probably been on before this so apologies, it's this time of year when the ferrets water bottles are going green inside with algae and are right sods to clean.If you get a small handfull of sharpsand(not yellow sand)pour it in,half fill with water and give it a good shaking, repeat and rinse, you end up with a new clean water bottle.What does anyone else do??

i do the same thing once a month :thumbs:

I use the thermo bottle covers,no light no algae.Supposed to stop freezing down to -15c aswell :unsure:

 

 

 

Aye where do you get them and are they expensive because a old sock will do the same job ,and what about differnt sized bottles ???
