A little tip...

Probably been on before this so apologies, it's this time of year when the ferrets water bottles are going green inside with algae and are right sods to clean.If you get a small handfull of sharpsand(not yellow sand)pour it in,half fill with water and give it a good shaking, repeat and rinse, you end up with a new clean water bottle.What does anyone else do??

I a few 8mm ball bearings that I use for cattys in the bottle and some rock salt shake it up and it comes out clean.

Cheers folk, anymore ideas??? Are them bottle brushes any good?? Never tried one myself.

i fill the bottle about quarter full with liitle balls of newspaper then water and shake.does the job.

Aye where do you get them and are they expensive because a old sock will do the same job ,and what about differnt sized bottles ???
