rain mist and loads of fun

Recommended Posts

Well the rain was lashing down again but you catch nothing sitting behind this screen,

So after a few phone calls longdogrunner and myself met up with foxhunter at a farm which has had a few problems with foxes , Anyway we met up foxy was running flyte my bitch danny has his dog bruce and i had typp my 1st x collie x grey.

Well foxes were not seen just plenty of rabbits which go off these fields fast, We accounted for 12 and on the last field near the A69 some prick decided to honk his car horn and put rabbits to ground :realmad:.

He must have travelled near half a mile with his hand on the horn  so i helped him see where he was going by lighting up his rear window with the blitz  just to help him seee the error of his ways :whistling:, back to the car off load the rabbits and on to some more ground higher up these fields are steep the rabbits once lifted head down bank making difficult strikes for the dogs still they did some impressive catches  Foxhunter had a problem with the rain hitting him in the face and making him blind as the glasses he wears were allways misting up :clapper: yes it was raining hard but when your enjoying yourself that dosn,t seem to mater we moved from sodden fields onto rough grassland and back onto fields accounting for rabbits as we went we walked the last few fields back to the car and had caught an even fifty rabbits not a huge bag but good sport in bad condition we were all soaked through cold and wet :o would we do it again tonight :hmm:

WELL OF COURSE WE WOULD :clapper: thanks lads and dogs for and enjoyable evening :victory:

Well it was a good night, besides it meant i didnt need a shower today seeing as i had a thorough soaking right through....... ......... a shame that jultaylor had to pull out at the last minute, when i spoke to her today she was gutted she missed it!!!!

I was quite pleased with Bruce seeing as he's had 3 weeks in the kennel with his toe so this was his first run out and after 3 hours he was happy we were calling it a night!!!!!

Woodga and Foxhunter will appreciate how wierd these 2 pics i took are, as they were taken one after the other, with no real movement and nothing placed in the background, but what is that light in the second picture?????? Only noticed it today when i looked at the camera!!!!!!!!!!!
