what type of lurchers or breed??

 

A long time before Plummer (or anyone else!) started writing books on the 'virtues' of all an sundry crosses, there where Lurchers kept of unknown ancestry and breeding.....

 

Worker to worker, with no definate 'type'..... ;)

maybe so but collie and grey have always featured whether it be the old smithfield collie or the present border/beardie x....Poachers of old knew the virtues of such a x....and didn't kill for killings sake.

No fishing tonight ooty,and no homo-encounters either,I am still traumetised :icon_eek:

My mullet was a different colour Bosun,jet-black,now its a subtle shade of salt'N'pepper,its old DBP himself reading from "North and north again" spot the shooting news on top of the crisp box?Its grim 'oop north :victory:

too true its about food on the table .not the ultimate killing machine.

and my collie cross would keep me and my family in comfortable living if needs be :victory:
