maty j 6
Coal fires are totally different - there the future
hue jeers 6
Learn your history before predicting the future. Besides, it's not wax, it's some sort of fatty oil type sh*t, I think. Wax jackets are something you can get of market stalls, sold by blokes who know no better and care even less.
DDD 4
Got a Barbour Beaufort, had it for years. Covered in oil from when working on cars/tractors etc, also a deep soaking of rabbit blood, not to mention occasionally being used as a dog bed, also used for fox shooting AND, even with the patched up rips & tears, it is still going strong. Never sent it back to Barbour as I have no idea for the price of a refurb. Plus it's lived in. Have said it before - numbers of realtree wearers at gamefairs MUST be a good indication of the hunting there
mrs sweepy 0
My husband got his first Barbour . When he was the 17 year old apprentice gamekeeper. His now 38 And its still hanging on the coat hook in my kitchen. Last year the boys and i bought him the new one . From the Barbour shop. But guess which one he is still wearing. He say it will be like commiting adultery if he was to start wearing the new one. I would not mind so much but it is all ripped .And its starting to smell like his left something dead in one of the pockets. I made the fateful mistake the few weeks back. Of grubbing it to nip out to get some milk from the village shop. Could not work out why when talking to people they would not stand to close to me. The smell is something else. Before the next season starts I got the feeling that old faithful will have to meet the accident. I would offer it to the village tramp but i think even he will turn his noise up at it . xxxxsuzy
