IanB 0 Posted September 11, 2008 Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 Personally does it matter... we lamp rabbits because theres more and there easier to catch than during the day... same goes for all the different quarry... when I'm out I used to shoot them lamping, I sometimes shoot the odd ones now, if someone I'm with wants them, or the gamedealer wants a few, other than that I use to leave them for lads who bring their dogs out to course when it was legal.. But seriously they are a pest in some area's because of a high density of them, some of the farms I go on the farmers are going to have hare drives, so what do you do, running them during the day ISN'T an efficient form of control by any means, sporting yes...but it doesn't get their numbers down... Lamping or daytime, its up to the individual in my opinion, we all know their harder during the day.... but what do you do, people will do as they choose... Quote Link to post
