The best I done was 24 and they they stayed where they layed for the foxs. Lamped the same land 3 nights later and took 3 fox.

Personally does it matter... we lamp rabbits because theres more and there easier to catch than during the day... same goes for all the different quarry... when I'm out I used to shoot them lamping, I sometimes shoot the odd ones now, if someone I'm with wants them, or the gamedealer wants a few, other than that I use to leave them for lads who bring their dogs out to course when it was legal.. But seriously they are a pest in some area's because of a high density of them, some of the farms I go on the farmers are going to have hare drives, so what do you do, running them during the day ISN'T an efficient form of control by any means, sporting yes...but it doesn't get their numbers down...

 

Lamping or daytime, its up to the individual in my opinion, we all know their harder during the day.... but what do you do, people will do as they choose...

As for people who are think through the day he wouldn't have killed that many your right we all no ourselves its hard to get on to them through the day last week on stubble he did 6/6 fight the ban on here has seen the dog run and he a good one as for the collie remark give your head a good shake pal

thats a very good night out i had 9 in 1 night pre ban my bitch had 5 out of 6 and rio off this sites bitch had 3 and another mates dog had 1, that was good enough for me i cant imagine haveing that many, but i think where you said 17/17 is a little bit of a porky, ok maybe its not but its what i think if your dog did have 17 out of 17 then feck me you have a real real tool there, good nights lamping anyway even if the dog had 17/25 keep the good work up. also what time of year did you catch them mate? good hunting anyway and markbrick1, on the 1st page you said one the best things this site has ever had on it, and not because every1 else talks shit and slags other people off lol its because its the truth nowadays no1 can have a good allround dog, or its only good for 1 thing etc, happy hunting anyway and mickyrich i lie your dog

also 17 during nightime. guess it all comes down to what month and what tyoe of ground your running on etc.......? did you use gate nets lol?what were the fields like then open gates or gated? some people struggle to catch 17 rabbits never mind 17 hares good going good post too
