what terrier?

hi im new to the site

I'm 14 and go out with a 22 air rifle.

I am thinking of purchasing a terrier for using to "bolt" foxes and ratting. What is the best breed of terrier that is the best all rounder??????

yes my Dad has offered to help . he has been hunting for many years but has told me to research the different breeds of terrier.

does your dad not have a preference then,or has he told you to get what you want,if so just look at some pics and see what you like the look of and get one from working parents and you wont go too far wrong

if its for bolting i would look for a good strain of russell. but most breeds will do the job. if from working stock. with laky and patt you might need a good spade to go with em.
