hi iam intrested in what bull people like in their bull x .me personnally, if id of been in this game many years ago, prior to the ban of ampbt, i would of used one of them in a cross.now not being legal what is the prefered cross breeding staff mastiff american bull english bull .what is your prefrence or what have you got:thumbs:

well a mate once bred half cross english bull x greyhound back to 3/4 greyh 1/4 ebt. off his own lines. and produce superb dogs mate definatly the 2 i seen where the best bullx i have ever seen mate. but as you say apbt can be very good dogs. but with these pups they were so versatil you could go on a nights rabbiting with them. there was only 2 in the litter though. a red dog and a black dog.

the dogs on the street know the answer to this question. it would be better if the antis trolling the site did not.

 

 

i no there are lots of antis trolling the site adam,i used to keep many of the banned ones years ago.

but only been into running dogs the last 2 so i was just of intrest if any others are used nowadays what with the ban.obviously the old american pit will be very much decreased in numbers my old crosses are spayed etc and just very inquisitive now what is best.i no the staffs a shorter leg but the old irish was a bit longer in the leg when i used to keep them .and that would be another choice of mine .but what sniper was saying about the ebt sounds nice too

My dad used to breed english bulls a few years back and he would never let me take lurchers out of one of his bitches as it wouldnt be worth his while but i could of picked up a grey bitch sumwer and got it working and he had a big dog which was 20-21inches tall i think he is still alive to in the waterside sumwer and he has seen sum game alot of lurchers wouldnt look sideways at and he was the friendliest big thing there was

would make a good base for a lurcher mate. may consider it in a few year 5 years or something.

good point sniper .thats one of the reasons i got into lurchers is to move away from the lack of brain in them.but now loving the game i have found their widley used and regretting parting with some of the dogs i used to keep .but intresting since being on this site the dogs that are around of bull breeding.and some very nice ones at that

imho,people carry on about this bull that bull,im not slating anyones dogs because theres good and bad in all but people putting up all these wierd and wonderfuls over a greyhound well im sure they was tried years ago the usual breeds stuck because they were obviously the best,back to topic although now ilegal a couple of years ago i would have opted for the pit x,
