Just got back from a day in the moors, had 1 adult and 2 young although i didnt want to kill the young, My mates bullmastiff X Bulldog couldnt help its'self. Should i feel pissed off or not? tricky dicky 0 Posted February 27, 2006 Report Share Posted February 27, 2006 I suppose it all depends on whether you go just for sport or on a pest control exercise--sport you leave them be for another season but if are having to please your landowners then you keep buggering in & accept the consequences ie: lay ups on little uns , it may mean the difference in keeping permission in some cases-i personally keep going as long as possible & start again as soon as conditions ie: undergrowth & temperature allow The Chimp Quote Link to post

With the young ones, it depends on what the farmer wants...if he's overrun, I'll keep going, and then hit them with the air rifle when the days start getting longer. On the farm I've been working recently, the farmer has said that he'll gas them as soon as I stop, so I might as well keep going, and accept that I'll get the odd lay up! Quote Link to post
