Beautiful chameleon, never seen one that vivid before,I had some dirty brown ones in my arm years ago, they were selling them in the souk in Marakkesh for two quid each

Thanks

He's a Panther Chameleon (Furcifer pardalis) and comes from the Nosy-Be region of Madagascar. Normally he's a mid to dark green colour, but he can go anything from black (which means he's very stressed and about to die!) to a stunning cyan (which means he's excited). No, he doesn't go 'real tree' if you put him on a jacket :D (that is actually a urban myth, they change with mood and only to colours specific to the type).

I've had a water dragon too which make good pets and I quite like the bearded dragons, they look like what most people would call a proper lizard.

Crow

We have tokay-geckos running around our holiday-home,I have spent many an evening watching them stalk, catch, and eat the smaller household geckos which hang around the florescent lights, but its almost impossible for visitors to sleep due to their incredible call, scares the wits out of first-timers as they dont know whats making the call :clapper:

A friend of mine had one of those little monsters, aggressive little buggers aren't they?

Malt,I actually had one draw blood,I caught it on a rafter on the stairs, looking at it,loose-grip,it grabbed my knuckle and started to gnaw :icon_eek: Have you heard them scream at night?Imagine a dozen in a three bedroom-house calling each other, time to get out the monofilament snares and a slim bamboo cane :clapper:
