TOMO 26,689
Lamper came with me last night, on my weekly pillgrimage to the dales . we also met up with nobby and fieldmarshal. they just had there young coursing dogs out and only wanted a dozen or so again, and were only out for an hour. Lamper wanted more of a test for his bitch donner, the weather wernt to bad a bit of wind and the odd light shower , the moon was getting quite big , so not perfect conditions , but good enough Lampers bitch started very well catching 5 from 6 , wereas Tara missed a few early on , but i think she was just getting her "eye in" any way we took it nice and steady , plenty of drinks for the dogs in streams and troughs, splashing water on them to keep them cool, but by the time we got back to the motor after 3 hours we had 61 rabbits and a partridge. Tara had 31 and donner 30 and the part, a very enjoyable night. TOMO Quote Link to post
