tell your mum it will be good for you to have the responsibilty and will make you think befre you knock up some girl.

tell you mum while you are out walking the dog you wont be shoplifting.

telll your mum when you are out lamping rabbitts you wont be out buying drugs or getting pissed.

gather up the money for all the stuff you need and kennel pen bolws leads vacinations and show your mum you can earn the money to look after the dog when you get it.

good luck i had the same battle with my mum as a teenager now she says she is glad as it kept me out of bother. oh and once you get the forst one in the yard the next one is easy

ALL OF THE ABOVE YOU LITTLE WIPPER-SNAPPER :tongue2:

Keep going on and on and on and on and on at her, she will break.

Tell her also that when times are hard and the credit crunch really kicks in then the dog would be able to provide food to feed the family!!!!! :boogie: and as for nice pups, add me to your buddie list and PM me in about 6 weeks!!

Doin well in school is always the best way i think but i never had this problem it was getting other things i used the school excuse.

Keep whatever money you have for your bitrthday and tell your mum constantly how well you are doing in school whether you are or not and tell her all about other people with lurchers and she will break soon enough.

Good Luck

they're right, getting them to let ya have the first is the hardest, after that its smooth sailing, lol. i've not got my own dogs yet, but i had this same battle when trying to convince my folks to let me get into gamecocks. first ones i got lucky i found them cheap and convinced my folks i was gonna hold them for a few months then turn around and sell them for a profit (which of course i didn't) then the next ones were "for an experiment in genetics and color" still got that line too. the more info i showed them on the birds and the more they helped me out with them during chores the more they liked them. pretty soon it wasn't hardly any peep out of them when i put down a big chunk of change for some other lines.

persistance and brains, that's what it takes.
