im so pissed off

thought i would post this here because the longnetting section is

dead.anyway yesterday set my longnet up with the rings not gromits all seemed well

today thought i would get practise at setting it put the first few poles out then it got tangled

then all the poles fell off the basket as i lent down to untangle it then to say it got tangled was an understatement

it was a proper bird nest. 2 and a half hours later it was done only reason was because i pulled all the poles off and started

again reset it again put it back in the basket walked home pitch black through these woods got in all the lines have come off the poles because of these shitty rings im so pissed off and can see why people stick to purse nets.if anyone has any of them proper gromits i can have it would be so appreciated its unbeliveable.

What rings were you using ferreter? Maybe you can now understand why people that use the quick set method buy the proper stuff!... Persevere grasshopper persevere

i have trouble with the grommits, i had so much hassle with them i use bits of bicycle inner tube these days, top one tight and bottom one a bit loose so it moves as you push the stake in, much better than grommits plus one £2.75 inner tube makes over 70 bands
