doga 50 Posted September 11, 2008 Report Share Posted September 11, 2008 just remember to balance it mate plenty of calcium and vits minerals from bones there a must beef chicken fish hearts small quantitys of liver and kidney only small quantitys fresh pulped veg yogert small amounts good for gut,reserch barf diet plenty to go at on internet best of luck. richard25 0 Posted September 14, 2008 Report Share Posted September 14, 2008 Barf diets are the best for your dog but the problem most people have in feeding there dog a BARF diet is to get the right balance & that is the key really as if you feed to much of one mineral of vitamin & not enough of the other you start to cause diffiencies etc & your dog starts to suffer. Check out the yahoo board for BARF I would also check a couple of dog kennel sites that feed barf diets & look at there daily food routines. http://www.ripley-wrinkles.com/ shes got some good info too on supplements etc too I personally go roughly by the below diet with added james wellbeloved food or burns ( whichever is in stock ) then i add things like salmon oil or cod liver oil along with pro biotics & apple cider vinegar Good luck with the pup Quote Link to post Share on other sites
