Paul.L 0
Does any one use a Beretta Urika , I had a nose around the gunshop with a view into buying something cheapish to use for a bit of rough/pigeon shooting ,as I can get a bit precious carting my ou,s around the fields through hedgerows etc, They had a new Urika 2 synthetic with the K off system in the shop but really too much money for a rough gun ,just over the grand mark I think, any ways after talking to the guy he mentioned that there was a guy coming in for a new one of these and was using his synthetic Urika 1 as a part ex ,if your interested says the shop manager I,ll give you a call when it comes in . Today he called to say the deal had been done and the Urika 1 was in the shop , he described the gun as immaculate ,full set of chokes and a hard case. This gun was new in Feb last so not a year old and said they want £740 for it .does anyone know of any potential problems to look for ,and does this seem a fair price ,he was telling me it was one of the better semi,s but he would do he wants a sale any thoughts , Thanks P Quote Link to post

Deker 3,478
I have the Beretta AL391 Urika Gold Game gun 28" with Optima, got it new about 6 or 7 years ago now, no problems and never regretted the day I bought it. Had the best part of 20,000 shots through it! I love Semis (or self loading as they seem to prefer these days) but I absolutely detest the cleaning job, but it is important to keep them clean! If the gun is a good as your man says then £740 seems fair...but I expect you can still twist his arm a bit!!! Quote Link to post
Paul.L 0
Thanks for the help guys ,He has put it by for me ,and unless its a pig which I doubt it,ll probably be coming home with me .This will be my first semi and it ticks all the boxes actually, just a bit daunted by the cleaning of it ,as I had heard its a bit of a bugger. andyp 9
I have just bought a berreta ulrika, what an absolute beauty, i had been using o/u for a few years until one of the guys at the clay ground noticed my shooting was "off", i explained it was down to having had major surgery on my left arm, and i was having difficulty holding my o/u, so he lent me his berreta for a round of sporting clays, well the decision was made there and then, i decided to go for one of these, and it has been absolutely brilliant, does not seem to matter what cartridges get put through, it has never let me down. Cleaning was initially a bit daunting but i downloaded the manual, i do mine every time it has been used, wether it has one shot, or two hundred, and it still looks as good as new. I use mine for all types of shooting, and the only thing i would swop it for is another one ! Quote Link to post
Gimli 0
I've had a Urika 391 for about 4 months - got it ast a knockdown price of £550. Great gun - only had one recycling problem when I was using three different weights of cartridge at one go by mistake and it wouldn't load the third one. as soon as I realised and put three identical ones in, it was fine again. Paul.L 0
Well peeps I went and had a look at the Urika this morning ,and he was true to his word ,immaculate condition been very well looked after , 3 different size gel pads to change the length of pull and several shims to change the drop at comb and cast, all in a hard case complete with 5 chokes . He,s never to keen to have a deal with money off but he will always do a deal with carts, oils, gunslips etc. So as me and the lad were off to have a go at the clays anyway the Urika came along for the ride ,we had a round each then went to the clubhouse for breakfast ,We then took the Urika for a round and put a couple of hundred through it .For me personally will have to change the pad on the stock to give a bit more length, but it suited nipper well,we were waiting on a stand for Mr perrazzi to finish ,he had the gun ,the hat ,vest and pants I don,t doubt ,he managed two singles before turning to the boy saying hard stand this one , stopped and watched the boy drop just the one with the Urika . So it got the thumbs up from him, he can now shoot 28g loads and not get knocked around ,and I may just get some use out of it on a few pigeons and rabbits. But its a very nice gun ,not quite the nightmare to clean as I first thought it would be .All the best P Quote Link to post
