wildfowling and stalking in lincolnshire

Recommended Posts

hello lads , iv been thinking of going stalking and wildfowling for many years . we resently moved to lincolnshire and there is loads of deer around here and we are closed to the coast now than we have ever lived but.

i have scoured the net for stalking days and wild fowling info local to us and have drawn a blank .. i was hoping some of you on here might be from the area or shoot in lincolnshire .

im in the proses of getting my shot gun licence and have a fair amont of permission to use but nothing with ponds ect . i dont want my fac licence but want to stalk deer .

so if you can offer info please do .

im thinking more in advance for next year ..

all the best matt

jessus man , i think you have lost all faith in human nature or the mistical power of common sence. :)

iv shot all my life other than a 7 year block that ended about 2 years back . iv been shooting shotguns since i was 12 , and trained as a keeper .

i was looking for paid days in lincolnshire at the many wild and controlled herds of fallow that litter the county.

as for wild fowling i would take night flights at duck and teal it wouldnt have to be shore or wash shooting.

i know you are only thinking of spoting me breaking the law or asuming im ill informed on calibares or equipment use so thank you for that .

but on a forum based and dedicated to hunting and feild sports surly there cant bne that many people that dont know tha crack.

all the best matt

no, there are probably alot of flight ponds around the area,i would of thought thre would be resvoirs around there so look around them

there is also some rough ground around them so if you gained permission for them you would have some more rough shooting and as i said look on all the fields any of them can hold wildfowl also look in amongst the swans when they are feeding as there will often be geese geeding in amongst them

best of luck
