FOXING ON THE STUBBLES

Recommended Posts

Well after the Monsoon at the weekend where I wasnt able to get out at all , me and David had a bash on the stubbles last nite.

Lamped a fox straight away but unfortunately not a safe shot so proceeded further across some stubbles until I spied another but every time time David tried to get a shot the fox was hidden in a dip until eventually it made the safety of an uncut wheat field .

As we came around the corner of a hedge I lamped another sitting in the hedge at approx only 20 yds , David shot it off my shoulder !! Very testing shot :tongue2:

Continued further and once again spotted charlie in a hedge , but unfortunately no shot on again as there was a house in the background :censored:

Then we spied 3 roe in a grass field which was nice to see....

Next I spied another fox on the way back to the car but once again in an awkward position , so we had to stalk right around it up to the top of the field to get a safe shot shooting down on it ...................it only had its head peeping out so David did his usual head shot ......... :clapper:
