advice needed

hi guy ive jst bought my self a 6 month old bedy whippet x collie grey hound pup was owt ferreting the other day any brought it two droppers back nw when i let da first 1 go he cahased it 4 bwt 10 seconds den stopped and the next 1 let off a bit closer he didnt even look at it and now he isnt even showing anyinterest for anyfing advice wud be greatly appriciated

Dont show him nothing untill gone 12 months my friend..........If you sicken the dog, I can guarantee that with that bit of beddy in there the dog will start to open up for sure.

 

Concentrate on its basic training........sit, down, stay, heel..........that will be just as much fun, then come the time the rest will come naturally.

 

All a bit of a sweeping statement I know........but its best not to complicate things ;)

all dogs mature at different rates just work on his basic training as has been said build a bond with the pup & try again when its 10 or 12 mths tho never been a fan of the dropper proves nowt they dont run most of the time & those that do , only half heartedly ferret 1 let it hear the thumping & then then the bolt but dont rush get it right & he'll be your best mate for the next 10 -15years get it wrong & you will spend that time & more knowing you let him down.ATB Pritch
