heres the problem my russel has just had six pups grate wee earth dog but getting old the problem is do i dock the tails or dont i

If the pups go to a vet for injections and are docked, you're nailed, simple as that. I wouldn't trust anyone to say "I got the pup in Ireland" either.

If I was keeping one for myself, I'd dock it, but which pup do you choose at 4 days?

You should be if you get caught mate...there was a case few months back guy got fined and was banned from keeping dog's only dock them if theyre spoken for and you trust who theyre going to...if its just for money then it wont matter if you dont dock them.

I think its still ok for a vet to dock working dogs if you can show it is for work but you cannot show them , i may be wrong but thats what i read somewhere

its is completely illeagal to dock any breed of pups in scotland since the new docking laws were made, you can however whelp the pups at a freinds house over the border and have them done there, and then take the pups home after that, providing you can show a shotgun cert etc to the vets.

cheers for the reply mate i bread her so i can get a pup off stuff i know the rest i will be giving away free of charge to people who are looking to keep hold of them not make money off them the dogs well being more importent than cash
