Does anyone have Plummers that consistently go to ground ? Seen a couple at the Welsh Game Fair last year that were well worked. I was thinking of getting a pair for keeping vermin down on farm during the week, but would be hunting cover at the weekend so would need a line that will go to ground if the opportunity arises. Any thoughts on the subject.

i think its very hard to compare a plummer to any other earth dog, mainly because they just dont go to as many homes were they get to or are required to do it,so its a very small population of dogs getting a crack. The little bitch in the photo is an 11" little bitch and very game she will never go down as a legend but im more than happy with her,the pair of bitchs are both 13" one is a footwarmer and just works rat the other is coming out for a look later this season. I've seen both good and very average workers, very much the same as any other breed imo.

brillaint pics mate... to be honest i had my doubts about the breed because i never knew much about them and alot of folk that claimed they could dig to them were reluctant to prove it with silly replies like "i dont have to prove anything"...

i write it how i se it mate,dont always mean to offend,he is a fuc*king idiot though but the plummer world is not short of them,everyone seems to want to be as famous a db himself yet most who own his dogs slate him,to me he was a clever man who wrote a lot of entertaining books as i was growing up,how cares if its not all true?who realy knows?,iv herd people say his books are only worth wipeing your arse on and thats come from people that cant fu*king read,they were given a childrens dvd story book to listen to of his last book,in the plummer terrier world everyones an expert what you wana know??
