labsnlurchers 39
Sound's like a herina and when you pick her up it goes back in ,Does it stress your ferret any when you touch it ???? ive not seen it going in and out ....lol i noticed it had gone this mornin, it was there for two days and hasnt appeard back .....yet i said at the start it sounds like a hernia but now it's disappeared im pretty much convinced, hernias in young are not uncommon and small ones often right themselves as the animal gets older, i would just keep an eye on it, if it doesnt go but stays small, dont worry but if it stays and getsbigger id seek advice, also seek some advice on breeding a gill with a hernia because if it doesnt heal itself then there will be a permanent hole there and pregnancy may stretch it or trap her intestines or something.....
