does anyone know how much roughly it will cost to have this type of check up and what the vets will do to her for tests? i know they charge 20 quid just to look at an aimal but thats about that

It could just be the bottom of the sternum. (The breast plate) My wife was concerned about our jill Poppy when she thought she found a lump there, but when I checked her over, I found it was just the bottom of her rib cage. :thumbs:

hernia? how old is the ferret? if its a hernia they often dissappear with time and only need attention if the hernia is big? Is the lump by the ferrets belly button?

its a young kit, a lump was discovered when she was 6 weeks (when i got her) but was way too small and hard to find, she is now about 18 weeks old roughly and the lump now right at the top of her skin is just above the nipples allmoas dead center
