Guest joe ox
Just watched some of ufc 88, the Liddell vs Evans fight went near enough the way I expected
Simoman 110
To be honest I thought Chuck would knock him out, fair play, a hard over hand right from Rashad knocked Chuck out instantly, I don't think Chuck looked "right" and his movement wasn't there. Cupid Stunt 18
Just watched some of ufc 88, the Liddell vs Evans fight went near enough the way I expected That was a good call then, you would have been one of a tiny minority. What do you reckon on the fights taking place in the early hours of this thursday? A couple of good matches, i would like to see Nate Diaz beaten but think he will have too much for Josh Neer. I can see Clay Guida causing an upset in the betting & beating Danzig.
gnasher16 30,054
Im amazed liddell hasnt been knocked out a lot more in his career....for a striker he is technically very poor....against evans he was stood square on trying to lead with an uppercut ....and got caught. I dont think I was in the monority thinking that result might happen I have never been a chuck fan even when he was on his winning streak as champion. I did admire him when he couldnt get his title shot because of Tito ducking him and he fought anyway even though he could of lost his place in line. Getting ahead of myself Might is a lot different to would. The stacks of opinions written on the fight over the past months, very few thought it would be the likely outcome. Alright joe, i've not seen anything of the fight yet, i was always a chuck fan when he was the number 1, i always found him to be an able opponent, he must have been, cos he knocked out all the people there to be knocked out!!!!! I was surprised when rampage put him out, and then every person since, i dont know if he's lost his way, or he's had his day, i think we all get caught up in how good fighters are and expect them to just go on and on and on..........but new talent comes in and gets better and better, i cant stand rashad, mostly from his piss poor performances in TUF, he never had a convincing win in my eyes, always looked like a bag of shit!!!! Cant wait for Silva to get a shot, at either forrest, evans or rampage.............. its f*****g shit now its all setanta...............
Guest joe ox
Alright LDR feck setanta and the rest of the greedy feckers get yourself on the torrent sites Evans played Liddell perfect he played cat and mouse the first round making Liddell come to him in the second to trade face on taking away Liddell's strength countering on the back foot! Franklin vs Hamill was more one sided than I thought it would be. I quite enjoyed the Dan Henderson vs. Rousimar Palhares fight some good wrestling.
