glad to see hes still going well bud,im going back to that type of blood next time i breed meg which will be her last litter wasnt to pleased with the last breeding i did with the chaz dog,the wheeler stuff works well with meg

I'm sorry the two dogs aren't working out! as there sister is a real tidy little thing which her new owner has high hopes for, but we both knew the risks when i let you use Chaz, he's a 100% all out worker, stay til dug, line bred back to the beginning, Meg is not what most terriermen would call a 100% worker although i'm sure there is a place for a fox dog which can be called out and she is after all more or less breeding unkown, i hope you PTS the two dogs as is seems there nothing but rubbish, where as the little bitch may make a nice little fox dog? good luck with your breeding plan

if the bitch is that why did you let chaz over her?im just asking seems a bizarre move on your part having known what the bitch is about,i probably wont get an answer i just wanted to understand the mating cheers john

when i was asked if Chaz could be used i thought the blood would mix nice but it has since come to light the bitch is not breed the way her owner thought! and it wasn't until after the mating i was told the owner liked his dogs clever!!! as in they can be called out, very usefull in some places i'm told, not the stay all day mad heads i'm used to! and the mating was made to help improve someone else line, which it seems it hasn't, although i'd not judge 6 month old pups

 

but this is why you have to be prepeared to cull, out crossing dosn't allways work which is a pity as the bitch is a stunner and she may still make the grade she certainly wont be judge now, but in 12 months when the underground will make or break her, and i'm sure her new owner will give her every chance, these things happen from time to time there chance that just don't work

Megs grandfather was flint that many thought was by spartacus but turned out wasnt hardly makes her breeding unknown all the rest of the breeding we talked about before i used chaz and if all you think of the little bitch pup is she may make a little foxer dont you think 300 quid was a bit steep especially when your always slagging lads off as being dog dealers and money makers.Funny how you come up with answers now why when you havnt got the guts to answer the phone still the lads that matter all know the crack

i dont mean anythink by this lads but why would you want bull blood in terriers like patts and lake's. the patts ive got are off they heads and dont stop,no revesre gear. just car'nt see the point.

there only 8 months old stu they aint had time to go in forward gear

I've been out with sons of Meg which both stay until dug to and have heard nothing but good reports from good sources about MEG of Downsouth's....never once heard anything mentioned about being called away and not being upto the job

2 MEN WHO HAVE A LOT OF RESPECT WHERE IM FROM ,WHERE IN STAFFS ALL THEIR LIFE,CAME DIGGING WITH PATTS,FIRST EVER DIG TO A BLACK DOG.BOTH CAME AWAY SCRATCHING THEIR HEADS AS THE DOG WAS LIFTED FROM A 2 1/2 DIG ,VERY HARD DOG AND BOTH AGREED THAT THE "FELL" BLACK TERRIERS WHERE IN A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN.THESE FELLAS HAD HUNTED WHITES AND KC LAKIES FOR YEARS BUT HAD NEVER WITNESSED A VERY HARD EARTHDOG.ONLY SOUNDERS.

BOTH MEN SAID THAT BULL BLOOD,IF ANYTHING HAD NOTHING TO OFFER THESE DOGS.IT WAS ALREADY THERE.

 

JUST TO ADD THEY DIDN T LIKE THE WORK STYLE OF THE BLACKS BUT ADMIRED THE COURAGE.

i think pickaxe has bred some good dogs and he still will.had a bitch bred down from chaz ,father rags .she was the real deal,nowt to look at,but she showed alot of so called digging dogs up when she was alive lucky enough for few decent lads there pups off her.time will tell if they make owt.they are a year old now!
