Guest hyperion
just wondered if any one has tried making an atractor for rats using their scent glands? ive heard of people using the glands from fox stoat mink ect but never heard of it being done with rats! does any one know if it would/does work?, and are there any other scents that work as a rat magnet? cheers Quote Link to post

donky7 9
had good results from prawns. live catch cages baited with them. Quote Link to post
stubby 175
we get given mouse and rat attractents to place inside bait stations, to draw the rodents into the box to feed, not really neccessary with mice, but as rats have a fear of new objects, it would be great if it worked, but cant say Ive ever had it give me better "takes" Quote Link to post
Guest hyperion
went up the farm last night to try for a few rats with the air rifles and the cat food slop i put out on thursday night was still there untouched, we tried choc spread and penut butter both mixed together and on there own but again they showed next to no interest in it!
