. i think and know that jiggy works his ferrets. if he has 2 ferrets and only works one then what difference does it make. it says somewhere on one of his posts that it will be out working so whats your problem with him rearing up one nicely ready to work? i mean who here wants to shove there hand down a hole to fetch out a ferret that will take off your fingers. i think there is more against you than with you so keep your head down and make APPROPRIATE comments

Im fed up with arguing with you, but I never said he didnt work them. In fact in the first post I made, I said it was good that he was posting the hunting related ones on here, but that 3 topics showing how "spoilt" it is isnt really necessary and would be more appreciated on an appropriate site. Personally I dont think anybody on this site wants to see a spoilt ferret crawling over some lass 3 times over and all I can say is I really hope we don't get yet more repetative nonsense like this.

good. i have no problem with seeing these pictures ever now and again and if someone doesnt want to see it then why open the thread? this site is built on what we want to post and look at and if you dont like it then you have the choice to turn a blind eye. whatever anyone says a ferret needs to be played with and looked after properly in order to get as much as you can out of them in the field. i associate my ferrets as real hunters in the fields and friends whilst at home. this does not make me any better or worse than anyone else as this is how i like to do it. and everyone does things in a different way. as long as you are decent and hunt then there is lots of time for everyone on this site. rant over and we can call it quits but if you want to niggle at people then keep it to yourself.

coatesy just so you know i work my ferrets,everyone chill please.i never thought that a simple few pics of my daughter with a ferret on her neck could cause soo much indifference,be sure my ferrets will be worked,those found lacking will be culled as has always been,as for sticking up post in the future i will certainly not be so fast to do so.I havent started ferreting seriously yet which is why i put up the pics of my daughter with the hob.I will be ferreting as soon as the cover dies back,then the rabbits better beware,but i dont think i will be bothered sharing my sport with narrow minded people that hang about here.Thanks to all those that have stood up for me here,you will be remembered

Well said Jiggy , i think its a shame when you feel you have to post pics to prove to go out there, but hey dont worry , you have forgotton more than most know anyway, 30 odd yrs experience counts for nothing now, its all about the photos now

 

Its a fact you have a wealth of knowledge you can & do pass on, not only about ferreting but dogs also , but seemingly it only counts when you have a mink x wolfhound on here
