Meerihunter 7
We got a few last night, catch rate was'nt to great in the stubbles though compared to the grass fields, no amount of lamping trickery was stopping the rabbits straightlining to 20yds straight to their holes/field edges. fireman 10,869
Went out for a mooch in the evening(in laws around for kids birthday)and had a banging hunt on a big rabbit in a old pea field,i saw him move off and then the lurcher hit his line and then the terriers and they spent the next 20 mins running him, loosing him finding him then they lost him in a cornfield in the end.X box my arse mate been under the transit taking off the gearbox and anyway that wet would have ruined his pretty show coat. undisputed 1,664
Well we were kinda out in it last night, me keano and anythingoes traveled to darkest newcastle last night for two pups and the conditions were horendous. Anythigoes's (aka Nigel Mansell)driving wasn't much better though and we were lucky to make it home in one piece. Anyways they picked up two nice looking pups and cheers to lamp + battery for his patience in trying to give directions to three demented scotsmen who had put the wrong post code into sat nav (piss up and brewery come to mind lads) to all the lads who braved the conditions well done it was deff a night for ducks Edited September 6, 2008 by undisputed Quote Link to post
Meerihunter 7
I wish it had been wetter here , we yet to have a single drop of rain. The stubbles were like concrete, the dog was really struggling on them. Quote Link to post
