Hello mate

Most important thing with your ferrets is that they get to know you. Regular handling and getting use to your smell, voice, touch, and the dogs you will be working them with. Will make them work better as a team.

I am new on here and only just getting back to the sports i love to. And its been a lot longer than you my friend. Ferreting has been around for thousands of years even the ancient egyptians use to do.

I would suggest you start your ferrets on small warrens. maybe six holers and the like with nets. Leave the dogs at home or teathered away from the action to start with If they can be quiet of course. Then slowly allow them when you feel the time is right to take part in the action.
