scottishlass 57 Posted September 5, 2008 Report Share Posted September 5, 2008 just got some of the tattie's dug up i would have done sooner but was waiting for a dry day and at last i have got the best crop so far some of them are huge i need to get them all cleanded up and stored for the winter to come, so far i have 2 15kg bags and still another row to lift.If i get snowed in during winter i wont starve Quote Link to post Share on other sites
Jim Grant 4 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Share Posted September 6, 2008 Hi Lass. Don't clean off all the muck, you will damage the skin and they will not keep as well as they might. Try and get some hessian bags for them. Stick them in a dead chest freezer, it is rodent proof. Just drill or burn some holes through the seal. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
