frogflyer 0
hi all, just wanted to know what everyone would think as going to set up a hunting lodge in france. would include a days zeroing, clay shooting, archery, food and alcohol. ( well we are in france ) would be towered or high seats for the wild boar, roe and fallow, also had an idea that people might want to come out to shoot what they call out here ragodin which in british terms is coypu, bloody great big beaver with a rats tail, about the size of a small springer, and there are thousands out here. would be just for the british market and would ( obviously being in france ) involve lots of alcohol and food but not when hunting unlike the french pleas let me know what everybody has to say about it weather it good or bad. frog flyer alias tony posted this on the rifles section thopught it might be better of here with you guys, Quote Link to post
gamegunner 0
Sounds like a good plan you have there my friend, i would be interested definately, as i have always wanted to go to france shooting with my .308 one thing i would suggest though make it very simple dont offer too bigger packages and dont rip off your fellow shooters otherwise you will get a bad name for yourself as have many other shooting companys that do shoots abroad just out to rip people off unless they are millionaires!!! appeal to a wider market and the market will come to you & you will make alot of money by doing it sir.. i have quite a few abroad contact that i have done alot of marketing for if you want to know more or even a hand doing your advertising / marketing let me know and ill willingly help you with some good knowledge i spent 8 years in that marketplace regards jon Quote Link to post
november 2
i have always wanted to go to france shooting with my .308 one thing regards jon that's not gonna happen I fear - military calibers are forbidden in france - at least for hunting. 308 as well as 30-06 or the good old 8x57.. all forbidden. I'm not sure about the 300 winmag though since it was a civil caliber before being adapted by the military. If I had to choose a caliber for hunting in france I'd probably go for the 7x64 or the 9,3x62 - depending on the area. if distance is to be gapped the 7x64, in forests the 9,3x62 Quote Link to post
