i have a freelander which at the moment is fitted with the standard 195-80-15 boots, been offered a set of 225-65-15 at a very good price :whistling::whistling: will these be ok to put on, or will the extra width put too much strain on steering :icon_redface: any help please

Cheers

Hi mate, I can't remember the formula for working out the aspect ratio, but they are 30mm wider than your old tyres, and otherwise very similar to your old ones. there shouldn't be much to worry about with your steering, unless there is some rubbing at full lock... in which case adjust the lock stops accordingly.
