I used my Ortovox Patroller reciever,and another manufacturers collar, on 2 digs today,and guess what?,it does exactly the same as "the tried and tested box" but for £87 cheaper .Both boxes were put side by side,whilst locating the dog,and there was no difference in the readings.£87 less for something that does the same ,its not that hard is it

id like to know where the rumours came from that bellman and flint wont sell collars unless you purchased a box from them,was there any truth in this and i just slipped through the net as ive recently

bought b and f collars from them with no questions and bought the pieps box from abroad cheap, the numbers work to 0.1.

i think it was something daft like £120/£130 from the states in a sale £15 postage but i didnt anticipate parcel farce would hold it to ransom this end,i think it was another 15 notes or there abouts to get it released.

they dont stock them anymore but they are around i see them on ebay now n then for £150 new.

i dont have a problem with bellman and flint i saw a cheap pieps box in a sale and went for it to hear later they wouldnt sell you collars if etc etc,fair play to them for dealing with me.
