It's ok mate, does the stuff you want it to and is a bit cheaper.

 

Whether it is better or worse than Pieps ( b&f ) remains to be seen but initial trials have proved succesful( apart form a bit of buffoonery)

Ortovox £250 or Bellman £328.............for something that does exactly the same thing............seems like a no brainer to me.

 

Some say the Ortovox reads a little deeper than the Bellman(PIEPS) but only 6 inches or so...........they are fully interchangeable with each other.

 

Had the boxes side by side and they were reading exactly the same depth...........

i seen it on a site called manmouth gear (check spelling) i'm sure thats what it was called........but for the price difference you might as well get a bellman!
