thepriest 0
Hello I left a thread on the new members section but i thought it probably better on here. I have just come out the forces and i wondered if you think it is to late to get back into keepering/ As a lad i trained at a north Essex estate where i went to colledge and qualified. though in those days, The early mid eighties there was no official qualification for gamekeeping. Do you think it is to late to get back into it?? I do miss it and i havent forgotten a lot. thepriest Quote Link to post

grandadbob 0
If you are willing to put in the hours and are dedicated then you should go for it. You may find that you need to volunteer you services for free while doing another job in order to get some recent experience on your CV. The key thing is to be reliable, if you are on time and put the work in then you will be able to get references from your voluntary work from the keeper or you will be next in line when a job comes up on the estate. Good luck. Quote Link to post
