Ive got a bitch scott/sandvally lines one of the original litter imported from alan scott i also have a sporting bull terrier and for years owned bull/greyhounds all have been worked alongside my terriers and on the lamp.The bulldog had a superior nose to all the others but i do suspect she has hound in her way back. Now iim not saying there isnt the odd exception but i really dont think the ab has much to offer to a lurcher.Ive heard loads off stories off them catching deer,foxes etc but found this to norally to be a load of crap spoken by people who have no real hunting experience trying to sell pups.Saying that they do make a highly intelligent loyal protective faily petits just a shame they are being ruined by puppy peddlars

good post "downsouth" the bitch i posted on the last page has some scott/sandvalley blood on her dam's side ...... as you say it's a shame these dogs are being ruined by puppy peddlars . but people will allways be tempted by ££££ $$$ . not all of us thankfully
